What we handle for businesses
- Grease-blocked kitchen lines and grease trap issues
- Restroom repairs: flush valves, urinals, taps and floor drains
- Sewer backups and main line blockages
- Water heater failures in kitchens and shared facilities
- Leak repairs and shut-offs for landlords and property managers
How we handle it
- Get you trading again
First we relieve the blockage or stop the leak so the doors can open.
- Find why it happened
A camera down the line shows whether it was grease, roots, a belly or a broken section, so it is not a monthly event.
- Fix it around your hours
Jetting, repairs and replacements scheduled overnight or before opening wherever the job allows.
- Document it
An itemised invoice describing the cause and the repair, for your records, your landlord or your insurer.
Grease is the local constant
San Antonio has a lot of food service, and kitchen lines here deal with grease on top of hard water scale. Grease cools and sets on the rough, scaled pipe wall until the line narrows and backs up at the worst moment. Cabling punches a hole through it; jetting scours the wall back to pipe, which is why it lasts so much longer on a commercial line. Older buildings downtown add clay and cast iron to the mix.
Scheduled clearing beats emergencies
For a kitchen that blocks predictably, a planned jetting interval costs less than a Friday night backup with a full dining room. We will tell you honestly what interval your line actually needs after we have seen inside it.
Property managers and landlords
We can take the call from a tenant, keep you informed, and give you documentation for the file. See also downtown and the Medical Center area, where a lot of our commercial work is.
What it costs
It depends on what the job turns out to need, so we diagnose first. Your plumber then gives you an upfront price, and you approve it before anything starts.
Questions people ask
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes. Overnight and early morning work is normal for us on commercial jobs, and emergencies are covered any hour.
Do you handle grease traps?
We deal with the lines in and out of the trap and the blockages they cause, and we will tell you when what you need is a pump-out from a waste contractor.
Can you invoice a management company?
Yes. Tell us who approves the work and who to bill, and we keep both sides updated.
