When jetting is the right tool
- The same line blocks again within weeks
- Kitchen lines packed with cooled grease
- Roots in an older clay sewer lateral
- Scale build-up narrowing the pipe
- Restaurant and commercial lines that see heavy grease
How we handle it
- Camera first where it matters
We look inside the line so jetting is aimed at a real cause, not a guess.
- Match pressure to the pipe
Nozzle and pressure are chosen for the pipe material and the blockage.
- Jet the line
Water cuts grease, scale and roots and flushes the debris out of the system.
- Re-camera and test
A second look confirms the wall is clean and the flow is back.
Why San Antonio lines need it
Hard water leaves scale inside the pipe, kitchen grease sets on that rough surface, and in older neighbourhoods roots push in at the joints of clay laterals. That combination is exactly what jetting is for, and it is why a line here can block again within weeks of being cabled.
What it costs
It depends on what the job turns out to need, so we diagnose first. Your plumber then gives you an upfront price, and you approve it before anything starts.
Questions people ask
Is jetting safe for old pipes?
The camera tells us the condition first. Pressure is matched to the pipe, and where a line is already cracked or collapsed, jetting is not the answer — repair is.
How is it different from snaking?
A cable clears a path through the blockage. Jetting removes the build-up the blockage was sticking to, so it stays clear longer.
Will it kill the roots for good?
It clears them and restores flow. If the joint has failed, roots return, so the lasting fix is repairing that section.
